Ramon Chicon, Founder & CEO Born and raised near the neo-gothic campus of City College of New York and the criss-crossing steel of the George Washington Bridge, Ramon was inspired at an early age to become an architect.
After graduating with honors from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Architecture, Ramon returned to his native New York and joined the internationally acclaimed architecture and engineering firm of Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill. In 1997, Ramon joined the award-winning design firm RockwellGroup. While there, Ramon contributed his design talents and technical skills to such projects as Bongos Restaurant in Miami for Gloria Estefan, Crayola Works, JFK Restaurants, Town Restaurant in NYC, and Equinox Fitness Clubs.
Ramon became the Director of Architecture for Eclipse Development in 2002, directing the design of numerous Equinox Fitness Clubs across the country. As Project Director for the high-end real estate developer Alexico Group, Ramon led the renovation of their corporate offices and The Mark hotel on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Ramon is a registered architect who focuses his New York City based BLU3 Development firm on luxury design and construction.
